Play Worker – After School Club
Permanent Position
5 Hours per week over 3 days. (Monday and Wednesday 3:30pm – 4:45pm and Tuesday 3:30pm – 6pm)
Band 3-4 .
Hourly rate £12.85 – £13.05
Commencing: January 2026
Are you enthusiastic, caring and passionate about working with children?
We are looking for a friendly and committed Play Worker to join our After-School Club team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at the end of the school day, helping them feel safe, engaged, and happy.
As a Play Worker, you will:
- Supervise and engage children in a range of fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development.
- Help prepare snacks and maintain a welcoming play environment.
- Ensure children are safe at all times, following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and the club team.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Enjoys working with children aged 4–11.
- Is reliable, energetic and able to use their initiative.
- Has good communication and teamwork skills.
- Can create a warm, inclusive and fun atmosphere.
- (Desirable) Holds a relevant childcare or playwork qualification.
