Parent Survey November 2025
Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our recent Parent Survey. Your feedback is extremely valuable and helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve.
We greatly appreciate your honesty, your suggestions, and the time you devoted to sharing your views. Your responses will directly support our ongoing work to strengthen communication, enhance the learning experience, and continue making Silsden Primary School a place where every child feels happy, safe, and successful.
We have reviewed the feedback and a summary of the results are can be viewed below.
We have listened and have already put some actions into place.
- Our SENCO has already held 2 parent information sessions over the past week.
- We have been in touch with BMDC in relation to the path up to the carpark – we are hopeful that this issue will be resolved in the forthcoming months.
- With effect from January, we will streamlining our communications and making it much clearer for you.
We will still be using Arbor and instead of ad hoc messages, throughout the week, we will be trialling a weekly newsletter which will summarise key messages for the week (which would have usually be sent via Arbor)
This newsletter will be also available to view on our website so you can easily refer back to old messages, should you wish to check anything.
There will still be occasions when you will still receive Arbor messages however these occasions should be drastically reduced.
- In the summer term, we will review our extra-curricular offer.
These are just key improvements that we have been working on already and there will be more over the coming year.
